Eligibility Requirements
In order to compete in athletics in Chicago Public Schools, athletes must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher. Athletes with less than a 2.0 GPA may apply for eligibility through their coach and athletic director by implementing an ISP (individualized school plan) confirmed by the CPS Athletic Offices. Under no circumstances can a student play competitive sports if he/she did not pass four classes the semester prior to the athletic season. |
